About Frank Xu

Frank Xu is an associate at Park Lawless & Tremonti. Frank represents General Motors, American Honda Motor Co., and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in Song-Beverly Warranty cases, including those where consumers allege fraud and unfair business competition under Business and Professions Code section 17200. He handles all aspects of these cases, from initial pleadings to trial.

Frank completed his Bachelor of Arts in STEM (Bachelor of Science equivalent) in Economics from Emory University and his Juris Doctor from the USC Gould School of Law. During law school, he also gained significant experience in consumer litigation through his work with Consumer Watchdog, a non-profit organization, and the Federal Trade Commission.

Frank is an active member of the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association, the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Los Angeles County, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

In his free time, Frank enjoys running, lifting weights, and cooking.

EXPERIENCE

Frank represents clients in federal and state courts in the State of California in consumer litigation in the automotive industry, including breach of express and implied warranty cases involving claims arising under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, Magnusson Moss Act, Business and Professions Code §§ 17200 et seq., and alleged fraud. He handles all aspects of these cases.

Frank externed for the Honorable Consuelo B. Marshall of the United States District Court for the Central District of California, where he gained experience in a wide variety of business litigation, including copyright, trademark, trade secret, competition law, mortgage and foreclosure, and class action matters.
