Vincent (Vinnie) Tremonti is a partner at Park Lawless & Tremonti. He represents companies in a wide range of complex litigation matters, including commercial, consumer, products liability, and premises liability cases. Vinnie has extensive litigation experience which includes developing case strategy, preparing and responding to written discovery, managing e-discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive pre-trial, trial, and post-trial motions, and participating at trial. Vinnie also leverages his litigation experience to counsel businesses of various sizes in order to ensure that they meet both their legal needs and business objectives. Prior to founding Park Lawless & Tremonti, Vinnie was an associate in the Los Angeles office of King & Spalding.
Outside of work, Vinnie enjoys spending time with his wife, Jessi, his two young children, Sophia and Nico, and his dog, Bernie. He also enjoys working out, traveling, and watching Food Network.
Vinnie served as counsel for Ford Motor Company and General Motors LLC in warranty and fraud actions throughout the State of California. Vinnie was responsible for day-to-day management of these cases, which included taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and trial preparation.
Vinnie was a key member of a trial team that obtained a complete defense verdict on behalf of a healthcare company in a qui tam action voted one of the verdicts of the year in 2019 by the Daily Journal legal newspaper.
Vinnie has extensive experience in mass tort cases in the State of California and throughout the country. Vinnie’s experience in this area includes representing UOP LLC in claims alleging professional negligence related to its designs and specifications prepared for refineries around the world; representing Chevron and Texaco in cases alleging joint venture/alter ego liability related to the Abadan Refinery in Iran; defending American Cyanamid Company in matters involving personal injury claims as a result of alleged exposure to asbestos from aerospace adhesives; and defending Phillips 66, ConocoPhillips Company, and Marathon Oil Company in premises liability actions.
Vinnie also has significant experience representing large pharmaceutical companies in coordinated mass tort litigation proceedings across the country. Prior representative matters include AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP in litigation related to treatment with Crestor® and Nexium®, and Bristol-Myers Squibb Company in litigation related to treatment with Onglyza®.
