Adam Trotter is an associate at Park Lawless & Tremonti. He represents automobile manufacturers in consumer litigation, including breach of express and implied warranty cases involving claims arising under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, Magnusson Moss Act, Business and Professions Code §§ 17200 et seq., and alleged fraud.
Adam is Licensed to practice Law in the State of California and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, in addition to being registered as an Attorney with the U.S. Federal Court for the Central District of California. Adam is also a California-Licensed Professional Engineer.
Prior to joining the firm, Adam practiced various types of business litigation, including real estate, civil rights, criminal law, and family law. Additionally, Adam worked as a Mechanical Engineer for the Federal government and in pursuit of private entrepreneurial efforts.
As an avid enthusiast of education, Adam has endeavored to earn a J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, an M.B.A from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, a Master of Mechanical Engineering (M.M.E.) from Villanova University, and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Adam represents General Motors, American Honda Motor Co., and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in Song-Beverly Warranty cases, including those where consumers allege fraud and unfair business competition under Business and Professions Code section 17200. He handles all aspects of these cases, from initial pleadings to trial.
Adam has represented many companies and private individuals in business-related contract disputes, employment law issues, and other unique situations.
Adam has pursued civil rights for individuals under 42 U.S.C § 1983, California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act, and the Ralph Civil Rights Act, including many varied tort actions related to these claims.
Adam has prosecuted both corporate unlawful detainer and eviction actions. In addition, he has sought to obtain prescriptive easements where warranted.
